Ygg d'Razhuul

Description

Ygg d'Razhuul is one of the few regions that connect the East and West continents by way of land. The great Razhuul bridge to the East of this rural, coastal region connects to the island Yggdramir; and eventually the East continent. As such, Ygg'dRazhuul is significant to traders seeking a route from East to West. Trade over this route of late has languished with the collapse of the Eastern realms that used it. 

Fish caught at the northern shore is omnipresent in regional dishes. Fish soup, fish stew, smoked fish, grilled fish and fish pie, together with the many vegetables grown in the region, provide the inhabitants of Ygg d'Razhuul with a healthy and varied diet. Supply hardly meets demand, however, and few fish are sold to neighbouring regions.
Its main source of wealth is its farming land. Bread often accompanies fish in local dishes. Most of the produce is sold to the city of Gelene.

Ygg d'Razhuul has a temperate climate. Warm, hot summers inland are contrasted by cool, mild ones on the coast. Stormy weather can break out in any season.

Having grown larger in recent times, the population is still closely knit. Festivals and holidays make sure it is kept that way. Inhabitants of the region are regarded as social and warm to one another, and loyal to their friends and lords.
